Favorite Flavor Debate
What is your favorite flavor? Did you know when we surveyed e-mail customers to provide their favorite flavors that Pumpkin was in the top 3 out of over 44 flavors to choose from? Yes, Pumkin?? I would of never of guessed it.
Do you know what the #1 e-mail requested flavor is?
Let us know what is your favorite flavor is and we will try to get it on the schedule for November.
PS: I must confess, Black Raspberry is mine, closely followed by Fresh Banana.

I love banana and pumpkin & peppermint are a close second.
But I have a question-why did the Green Strickland's close already? I was waiting for Fall and Christmastime to get those flavors. I haven't been getting emails for a few months from Akron or Green if not most of Summer. I signed up again and only got the Akron one and recently I drove by the one in Green and saw why; they are closed for the season. I hope they come back in Spring. The Green store will be reopening under new owners soon, maybe as early as in a few weeks. We are in final negotiations and are excited about the new owners.
E-mails are going out, check your spam folder first to see if they have been diverted there. If they are not there, please resign up at all of your favorite locations. Bounce backs to us are usually deleted from our system so it may have of been inadvertently deleted if it was bounced back for any reason. (If one store deletes an e-mail address, then it is removed from all of our stores.)
Did you know that our Fresh Banana recipe calls for 20 fresh bananas per 2.5 gallons of ice cream?

My family and I will be back home for a visit July 10-July 23, 2009. The one place we go is to Stricklands for the BEST ice cream ever. We live in Oklahoma and nothing compares. Can you please tell me if anyone knows if they will have banana or grape on the flavor of the day during those dates? I looked at the calendar but it hasn't been posted yet.

Hello Tina, thank you for your flavor of the day question, I have forwarded it to our Flavor Selection Selection Committee. I would have to agree with you that Banana is one of the best !! I will try to pull some strings to get it on the schedule so that you can enjoy it during your time here. July’s calendar will be posted around June 20th if you want to get a sneak peak. BANANA is the best flavor by far in my book of course. Since there are 44 flavors, every can enjoy Stricklands ice cream.

Black Raspberry Chunk and Black Raspberry are my favorites. It reminds me of dessert when we were growing up. We would go out and pick black raspberries off the bushes in the back yard, serve them in a bowl with real cream poured over. Thanks for keeping the memory alive. And why is there no Black Raspberry in September? Gotta have my fix at least once a month!!!! We have been loyal fans since we were kids in the 1960's. Now we take our grandkids to Strickland's.

BANANA is the BEST in the world! Anonymous was correct in that nobody touches the flavor you have and i love the real banana pieces. I'm going to be in Akron this weekend for a family reunion and was hoping this would be on the menu - but of course I'm a weekend too early! BUMMER!
