Part of what makes Strickland's special is the Flavor of the Day concept. Ice cream tastes best when it's fresh, so Strickland's principally serves only three or four flavors each day (although frozen pints and quarts of recent flavors are sometimes available). Our made-fresh, deliciously different homemade ice cream is hand-dipped using antique, conical dippers, giving our cones and sundaes a distinctive appearance.

You can find Flavor of the Day information in several ways. By selecting a location from the list at left, you can view the current Flavor of the Day, or look at the Flavor of the Day calendar. You can also sign up at one or more locations to receive a Flavor of the Day notification every three days by e-mail. Of course, the traditional method may still be the best - simply stop by a Strickland's location and find out the flavor in person.
